Data Deletion Request

Diamond Canopies East Africa Limited ("we", "us", "our") respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of any personal information we hold about you, including data obtained through Facebook, Instagram, or other connected services.

What data we may hold

• Contact information you submitted via our website (name, email, phone number, message)
• Quote requests and project enquiries
• Newsletter subscription details
• If you authorised our social media management tool: Facebook Page access tokens, Instagram Business account identifiers, and metadata about posts published through our system
• Standard server access logs (IP address, browser, page views) retained for security and analytics

How to request data deletion

To have your personal data permanently deleted from our systems, send a written request to:

Please include in your request:

1. Your full name
2. The email address, phone number, or social account handle associated with your data
3. A statement that you are the owner of the data, or are authorised to act on the owner's behalf

Revoking Facebook / Instagram permissions

If you previously authorised our application to access your Facebook Page or Instagram Business account, you can revoke that authorisation at any time directly from Meta:

1. Visit Facebook → Settings → Business Integrations
2. Locate "Diamond Canopies" in the list of authorised apps
3. Click Remove

Once you revoke the permission, the access token we hold for your account becomes immediately invalid. We will additionally purge any cached metadata within 30 days of receiving your written request.

Timeline

We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal, tax, or contractual obligations. Where retention is required, we will inform you of the categories retained and the legal basis.
